About Me

Hi there! My name is Mihaela Nitas.

I am so happy to have you here on my personal blog. I intend to treat this blog like a personal journal, where I will be talking about all kind of subjects that are of interest for me and therefor I have intensely studied them, such as:
  • Different ways to make extra money online
  • Lifestyle, Personal hobbies, Sport, Fitness
  • Travel experiences and how they impacted my life
  • How I play around with what I eat so I can have more energy to reach my goals
  • What it takes to be consistent and have a clear vision of what you want out of your life
  • How I handle stress and anxiety and how my perception of life changed over the last 16 years
  • What books I have read and what I am reading now
  • How I plan my goals, what I want to improve about myself and what I do to in order to succeed, and many more….. 🙂
As you can see, I will be talking about techniques & strategies on how you could make more money online but I will be dedicating a huge part of the blog talking about what kind of person you must become in order to achieve your goals.

As I have struggled for so many years with a poor mindset that kept me from reaching my true potential (and I still am, it is a never-ending battle), I know that your biggest enemy when it comes to taking your life to the next level is…YOU, and your mind.

What can I tell you about myself?

I am 34 years and have been independent and making my own money for as long as I can remember.

I didn’t come from a wealthy family and I was raised by my mother and my sister, as my father passed away in a car accident when I was 6 years old.

I started my journey in the work field with a few short term, summer jobs from 14 years to 18. At 19 years, everything shifted when I discovered the power of the internet.

2003 – I was lucky enough to work remotely as a SEO Assistant for a company in the UK, that was selling health & beauty products mainly thru their vast network of affiliates.

No more that 6 months into the job, I was hooked on affiliate marketing, quit my SEO job and started my first website.

This was in 2004, where SEO was king and main source of traffic for most of the websites, and it was easier to rank on first page of Google. No more than 1 month had gone by and I had received my first affiliate commission of $99.

I still remember reading the email notification, thinking “WOW, is this for real? OMG, so if I’ll make 1 sale per day, I would have $3000/month!!!” Keep in mind that in 2004, that was more than a middle manager was making.

6 months later and I was making $5.000, then $10.000, and then $15.000/month.

From 2005 until 2011 I have made almost $500.000! Then, the biggest Google update came, targeting affiliate websites, and I’ve gone from $15.000 a month to $3.000/month to ZERO in only a few months.

I was devastated, and had to find another way to make money! Yes, I had a few savings but I also had several others offline start ups that were not yet producing any money, but only taking in a lot of funds.

I had to close all my start up businesses, declaring major losses.

My morale was down, my mind declared itself defeated and I felt powerless and unwilling to try to get back up again.

I found myself at only 27 years, with no stable income and no house of my own, having to take care of me and my mother, that recently moved in with me, into the place I was renting.

I wandered around for 2 years, trying all kinds of businesses (both online and offline) but nothing seamed to pay off.

I was making just enough to cover my daily expenses.

2013 – Then, a friend of mine, who had similar online businesses suggested that we should start our own agency, providing services to local clients…and so we did!

He had some convincing to do as I was very stubborn and set in my ways at that time, and for our agency to take off, I had to learn a bunch of new things that I wasn’t familiar with, like Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, Landing page optimization, notions about copywriting, selling, negotiating and closing a contract and so on.

Over the course of the next 4 years, I was in charge of the digital agency we have started, we opened a second one, we took on a few international clients and we diversified our services. We were making a decent living.

2017 – Still, I was not happy as I was constantly dealing with picky clients, I was wasting time on reports and useless meeting, and I had no choice but to be at the office every single day.

I knew the huge potential of affiliate marketing and how much money I was leaving on the table by not taking action again into this direction.

I was dreaming of getting back into the game, but I was always saying “Someday….”, “After I get this project”, “After I take care of the new client that is making me the money I so desperately need”, “After the summer, as I need money for vacation”, and so on…

It was never the right time…

This was the year I started to pay more attention to myself, my emotions and my thoughts.

I started listening to a lot of motivational speeches, reading a lot of stories of successful people, see what they were doing different than I was, on a day to day basis.

I wasn’t looking for a quick or new “make money” strategy, as my head was already exploding from all the information, present and past experience I had.

I was curios to understand why I wasn’t taking action in spite of the fact that I knew EXACTLY what to do, how to do it, and I already knew it pays off big time. Yet, I wasn’t doing anything to start.

And, whenever I was getting ready to start a new personal project, to make money from my own website, I always ended up reading and researching but not actually implementing.

There were a few times I had taken 2-3 steps into a new online business (buying the domain name, setting up the website, etc) and then getting hooked by the agency demands all over again, and postponed the project.

2018 – This was the year were all changed! I learned what clear vision, discipline and consistency can do and i got hungry for more! I applied the principles I have learned thru watching motivational videos, in every aspect of my life.

I refused to be average, and chose to be extraordinary!

So, I changed my diet, I started working out at the gym like a crazy person, I took notice of my weaknesses and strengths, and I made a list of attributes I wanted for myself. I designed “my best me” and I worked continually to make it happen.

I developed new hobbies like reading, fitness, cooking healthy, snowboarding, kitesurfing, and many more.

After I saw some results in those areas, I started to rebuild my so lost self confidence and jumped once again into affiliate marketing, developing new personal websites.

I realized that I could easily apply for my own online business all the things I have learned in the past years, delivering online services to clients….ans so I did!

2019 – Still, there was something missing. A sense of purpose in life.

Thru my self discovery journey, I started to drop some of my biggest clients that, in spite of the fact that they had no intention to close the collaboration with our agency, were always complaining about something just to get us working harder, or get fee cuts, or extra perks.

Even though I needed them like I needed air, I chose peace of mind over greater income.

This decision taught me that I put greater value on the positive impact I bring to others than the benefits I get from that relationship.

Gratitude and knowing that my words and actions had a positive impact to another person’s life….nothing lights me up more than this!

Don’t get me wrong, I value money and I want to make as much as I can, but I will never sacrifice my integrity or values to get it.

When I decided to start this blog, it was a huge step for me, far away from my comfort zone.

I was always the “person behind the monitor”, never putting my thoughts and ideas out there.

But knowing that I am leaving something behind and that I am helping people gives me the fuel I need to write these lines with a huge smile on my face and enormous joy in my heart!

I am not declaring myself an expert in anything, I am a firm believer that we are constantly learning and improving ourselves. I am just sharing my story and hope it will inspire you to start sharing your own. 🙂

So, there it is. Hope you’ll really enjoy this blog and if you have any questions, drop me a message! I would love to hear what I could help you with!
